Aerion introduces a quantum leap in speed capability—to Mach 1.4, more than 1,000 mph. Over land, the AS2 cruises efficiently at Mach 0.95, faster than any jet today, and without producing a sonic boom.

BOOMLESS CRUISE^(sm) flight is feasible at speeds approaching Mach 1.2, depending on atmospheric conditions, principally temperature and wind. Post certification, Aerion will work with certifying authorities to approve this cruise capability.
